Rain, rain, go away.

I'm stuck here at the South Conservatory because of the stupid rain. Can you please stop for like a minute? I want to go home, you know.

Anyways, I'm enjoying Plurk! Haha! :)) Add me if you haven't! See my sidebar for details. :)

Okay, this is random. Hahaha!

Sidelines

Oh. I've made a Plurk account a while ago. Haha! Add me! :)

And, can you answer this question?

Who's the first person you think of when you wake up and the last one before you go to sleep? Why?

Yellowcabs and Virgin Suicides

I had a talk with my friend, Xing, yesterday about our other friend (which I'm not naming, haha!) whom we think has a crush on her. We had agreed that if the guy courts her, she'll be treating me with a pizza from Yellowcab. If not, then it's not. Haha! :) Basically, its a win-win situation for me. Haha! :) She says that our speculations are not true but we are seeing some tell-tale signs that the guy actually likes her, but aybe he's afraid to move because we're a barkada and he's probably shy expressing his feelings in front of us.

To you, my friend, MOVE or BE MOVED. HAHAHA! :)

Today, I do not have any classes since I only have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. So Xing and I went to Robinson's Place Manila to buy her sister a USB as well as to find myself Jeffrey Eugenides' book, The Virgin Suicides. I just finished reading Chuck Palahniuk's books, Haunted and Rant. After buying the stuff we need, we ate lunch at Teriyaki Boy and went strolling around the mall. I was surprised to see my blockmates there. I suppose they're going to watch a movie but I was not in the mood to watch one.

On an annoying note, my LASARE2 was moved from yesterday to November 15. I was waiting at Y402 yesterday but there was no familiar face inside so I checked my MyLaSalle account and found out that the schedule has been moved. Screw LSPO for not informing us on advance! I was late for my KASPIL2 class. Dammit.

Oh well. Basically, that's how my two days have been. Blame me for having a very boring life. Haha! :)

Do I smell pizza? HAHAHAHA! :))

Hello Second Term! :)

Second term has officially started at DLSU. Let me tell you how my first day went.

Preparation

I woke up around 4AM since I have to prepare my things since I'll be staying at Manila until Saturday due to the DLSAA Lasallian Excellence Awards ushering job that I have to do on Friday. I left Cavite around 6AM and arrived at Manila at 7:30AM. After setting my stuff at my dorm, I immediately went to school since I don't want to be late on my first day.

KASPIL2

My first subject was KASPIL2 (Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas 2). My professor is the funniest and coolest professor I have ever known in the entire Lasallian community. Haha! :) He hasn't introduced himself since he was very eager to share some of his life stories. Although the subject was a tad boring, our professor makes it quite fun by interjecting some Spanish words which leaves us in amazement. Haha! :)

ENVIENG

ENVIENG (Environmental Engineering) will be the last Engineering course I'll take (aww). It's fun because it focuses on environmental problems and how technology can help solve the problem. Probably after this course, I'll be an active Greenpeace/WWF volunteer. Hahaha! And did I just mentioned that our field trip will be in Puerto Galera and we'll be cleaning the coral reefs? How cooooool is that?

TREDTWO

TREDTWO (The Christian Filipino in the Changing World) is okay, but not the professor. His jokes are so failed. Plus, he's a Harlequin wannabe! I hope I can survive one term with this boring professor. :(

FILDLAR

Our class for FILDLAR (Filipino para sa Iba't-ibang Disiplina at Larangan) was short, since it's just the first meeting. Our professor was very funny and I hope I have a good term with her.

Lunch

I met up with Xing and Louie after my FILDLAR class to have lunch around 2PM since my classes were straight. And since my next class is at 4PM, I've decided to sit in with their SPEECOM (Speech Communication) class. But they had a free cut with SPEECOM so we decided to hang out at Z2 cafe.

HUMAART

After hanging out at Z2, we went to Yuchengco Hall to go to my last class which is HUMAART (Introduction to Art). The class was also short and we were required to watch Ballet Manila's rendition of The Naughty Daughter. Since we have to create a midterm reaction paper about the performance, we have to reserve tickets early. I do hope we get one!

So basically that's how my first day passed. I'm promising myself that I'm not cutting any of my classes this term and I'll get high grades. So help me God!

OffT: CSB placed second runner up at the 2008 NCAA Cheerdance Competition. ANIMO! :) Mapua placed first runner up and Jose Rizal University emerged as champions. I wonder what happened to Letran and Perpetual? Geez. I have to watch their performances ASAP!

Bye term break! :(

Ugh. Second term at DLSU will officially start tomorrow. Just as I'm getting the hang of term break (this is the longest term break I had: 11 days), it's now back to school for me. Although I'm loving my schedule (Mondays and Wednesdays only!), I'm still on the process of unwinding after a strenuous term. Oh well, I just wish I wake up early so that I can make it in my 8AM class. Haha! :)

I got it. You got it. We got the magic.

I was able to watch the 2008 Samsung-UAAP Cheerdance Competition yesterday at Araneta Coliseum with my friends, Gelli, Migxz, Louie and Renz. I was really happy that the DLSU Animo Squad was able to present well! :) A few pyramids, more exciting stunts and synchronization and we might be able to give UP and UST a run for their money! Haha! :)

On the other hand, I was very surprised with UP's performance. The 'get away with the usual cheerleading' theme worked well for them. It was nice to see the combination of cheerleading and cultural routine. UST was classy as always. Very polished and snappy but they lacked the oomph factor. FEU was polised but the fall on their last pyramid was very disappointing for them.

NU was great! No major blunders for this year! The fearless award goes to Adamson for their daring stunts and pyramids. The Ateneo Blue Babble Batallion was also great. They're getting better and better every year. UE's use of the umbrellas was a bit tacky for me.

Now, I'm looking forward at the NCAA Cheerdance Competition this Wednesday! I'm a Letran fan eversince. Haha! :) I hope they get the championship this year.

Smile.

While I was doing my usual stuff at the Internet:

BUZZ!
Mark: Hey!
Y: Hey (some nickname that's just for the two of us to know :P)!
Y: How are you?
Mark: I'm fine.
Mark: How about you?
Mark: I haven't heard from you in ages! :)) How's London?
Y: London's fine.
Y: But I'm back now. :)
Mark: You're joking!
Y: No I'm not!
Y: I'm back for good.
Mark: Really. :)
Y: Really.
Y: So, I'll see you tomorrow? :)
Mark: Okaay.
Y: Same place, 8:00. Is that fine?
Mark: That's perfect. :)

Guess I have another reason to smile. HAHAHA! :) Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. :))

Queries answered.

Why move again?

I stayed with my previous blog (makeenetics.blogspot.com) for two years. I felt the need to create a new blog since I felt that I was not the person I am writing about in my blog (if you get what I mean). Also, you can see most of the stuff I post there in my Multiply account. And besides, change is a great experience! So I'm having a fresh start with life in this blog. :)

Why 'Three Way Intersection'?

Apparently, there's no specific reason on why I chose Three Way Intersection. I was browsing Wikipedia this morning (which is one of my weird habits) and I came across an article about intersections. I read about the three way intersection and it sounded cool to my ears hence I used the name Three Way Intersection. :))

What can we expect here?

Ugh. Go read the sidebar! I'm tired typing. Hahaha! :))
